A few months ago my friend Sam told me he was going to propose to his girlfriend Abby and I was so excited for him I said you should let me photograph it. Knowing Sam to be a hopeless romantic I knew he would come up with a great plan and it would be so great to photograph. He decided to propose in downtown Denver on the bridge over 20th connecting to Coors Field were it had all started with a fake proposal a few years back to fool a friend of Abby’s. He made up some tall tale to get Abby to the location by herself, I picked him up and we made our way down to the location. Sam was so nervous and excited all at the same time so I tried to keep him distracted with conversation about other things. When we arrived we checked out the location and he worked on what he was going to say, then we waited. It was to agonizing so we went over to the bar and he did a shot to chill out a little. Soon she arrived and he waited as she waked toward him and once she reached him he said a few things to her and then dropped to one knee and proposed. She was totally surprised  and started crying then she said YES. My heart was pounding and I was so happy for them I teared up a little my self. This was such an amazing moment to be apart of I am so happy for Abby and Sam to start their life together…CONGRATULATIONS ..

So right off the bat when I first met with Mandy and Todd I knew it was fate because Todd’s last name is Hays! I had so much fun at this wedding Mandy and Todd were so easy to work with even though they just wanted to get to the party they put up with me squeezing in just a few more pictures. The wedding party got a great laugh at my expense as I proceeded to fall back into the water fountain as I was taking the wedding party pictures and not just once but twice, thank goodness my feet were all that got wet. I loved the band at the reception and everyone had a great time in the photo booth. Congratulations Mandy and Todd thank you for letting Hays Photography capture your special day.
